Peacefully at Te Kuiti Hospital on Monday 14th August 2023, with her loving and caring family at her side. Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Rachel and Jason, Lance and Alana, Shane and Adele. Nana Batch to her five grandchildren. A celebration of Carol’s life will be held at St Brides’s Anglican Church, Otorohanga, on Monday 21st August at 1pm, followed by interment at the Otorohanga Cemetery. Hello Lance, Alana, Shane, Adele, Rachel, Jason and all her grandchildren!
We wish to convey our very sincere apologies for being unable to attend due to our mobility and not quite senility.
From all her siblings, Myrtle, Winsome, Connie, Nola and Bruce.
Having her presence at two family gatherings in the last year, was very special to us all. Travelling to Christchurch to farewell her brother Jimmy and spending Christmas with 3 of her 4 sisters at Maheno, were very nostalgic occasions!
As Carol resided in the the North of the country, we were always in very regular contact!
We all loved her dearly, and will miss her happy - go lucky personality greatly!

A wonderful caring friend, we shared a laugh, a meal, a cup of coffee. Now you fly with the angels. You will be greatly missed by many but by none as much as your loving family. Now take a rest before you climb on the horses in the great beyond and race across the skies. Much love
